WORKMEN COMPENSATION

Your organization like any other employer of labour is required by law to insure against your liability (under the provision of the Act of 1987) to any employee who shall sustain personal injury either by accident or disease arising out of and in the course of his employment by your organization.

This cover provides indemnity in respect of your liability under the Act and also legal expenses reasonably incurred in defending the claim.

The benefits provided for are as follows:

Death – 42 months salary
Permanent Injury – 54 month’s salary
Temporary Disablement – 24 months salary (graduated downwards)
Full salary 1st 6 months
½ salary next 3months
¼ salary for 15 months
Medical Expenses – Unlimited
